Your chance to win £10,000 - sponsor a duck today for Action for Blind People

On Sunday 31 August 2008, The Great British Duck Race aims to set a new world record by sending 250,000 yellow rubber ducks down a stretch of the Thames, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity.

To become a record breaker, all you need to do is sponsor one or more ducks. The first £2 per duck goes to the Great British Duck race but any additional sponsorship you wish to add will be gifted to Action for Blind People.

The owner of the winning duck will receive £10,000 and there are also prizes for the next 30 ducks that pass the finishing line.

You can even cheer the ducks on as they swim downstream, and join in the celebration parties along the banks of the Thames.

The Duck Race is working in close partnership with the River Thames Alliance and the Environment Agency to ensure that every plastic duck is removed from the Thames on completion of the race and then recycled or reused. For more information, please visit www.thegreatbritishduckrace.co.uk .
